Junior Section FREE Trip

Clyne Trip Sunday 28th Feb ‘10

Hi all, just a little note to give you an idea of what’s going on. These arrangements are not final and maybe amended.

We are looking at taking the members of the Penlan RFC Junior Section on a team building trip to the Clyne Farm Centre to enjoy the Challenge Valley – ‘The muddiest assault course in the world’. www.clynefarm.com

This will take place on Sunday 28th February 2010.

We will be meeting at Penlan RFC and travelling via coaches to the venue.

The activity will commence at 10.30 with a half hour warm up session, hour on the course, shower time and food (sausage, chips and squash). Taking approximately 2 ½ hours.

We will then return to Penlan RFC via coach.

THE KIDS WILL BE COVERED IN MUD SO OLD CLOTHES ARE ESSENTIAL.

The course will be for all our members and I’m assured that even the smaller ones will be able to take part but they may have to miss a few obstacles out.

There is a tea room for parents to wait or you can walk the course to view activity.

The kids will be split up into manageable sized teams and will stagger starts and all teams will be accompanied by qualified instructors.

Closer to the date consent forms will be needed from parents for all taking part and a kit list will be provided. (NO CONSENT FORM NO TAKING PART)

We need to know who will attend and how many seats will be needed on coaches.

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THIS TRIP AS WE HAVE ACQUIRED GRANT FUNDING.

Hope you can all make it and enjoy as this is a perfect opportunity for us all to get to know each other better.
